Description: The par-70,6,600-yard and par-70, 7255 yard public courses features Bentgrass greens, tees and low mow Bluegrass fairways on a beautiful 200+ acre property that was part of and adjacent to a landfill area bordering Riviere des Prairies.
Architect: Pat Ruddy
Contractor: ASL Golf; NMP Golf
Scope: Complete Sodding of 36 holes, greens, tees, fairways, roughs and the practice facility
Project Duration: 50 days and 45 days
Grand Opening: Spring 2002
Turfgrass: Low Mow Kentucky Bluegrass (fairways), Premium Kentucky Bluegrass (primary roughs), Manderley’s 3-way Bentgrass
Grassing Method: Combination small/big roll
Installation: Manderley’s NTS™ – Natural Turf Systems™
Project Synopsis: Manderley's challenge was to complete the courses under fall conditions in a clay environment. The resulting efforts yielded a very consistent playing surface that transitioned the winter conditions and eliminated the risk of a missed grand opening as planned.
Client Testimonial: "Manderley's reliability and execution completed the course on schedule and the clients were amazed at the playing conditions. Sodding allowed us to meet our tournament and rounds projects."Denis Tencrede, Owner
