This challenging par 72 was constructed in the summer of 2000 under demanding time lines to meet the scheduled opening day. Several factors led to Manderley being a chosen supplier, including its proven ability to meet tight deadlines as well as its experience in this geographical area. Previously, Manderley had met the challenges of working in the rugged terrain of the Laurentian Mountains, just North of Montreal, as the supplier of turfgrass for Le Giant Golf Course, Le Diable Golf Course and La Bete golf course.
Manderley’s sod-install crews remained directly behind the NMP finishing crews thereby reducing time and material loss from the micro burst storms that frequent the Tremblant area. The Manderley crews returned in the spring of 2001 to finish the course preparations for opening day. |
