Thundering Waters Golf Course

Location: Niagara Falls, Ontario
Description: Thundering Waters is John Daly’s first signature golf course in Canada. The golf course features the high risk-reward style of John Daly and combines sweeping fairways, undulating greens, sculpted bunkers and meandering creeks, all nestled between towering trees and mighty dunes.

Architect: Boris Danoff
Superintendent: Andy Rambacus
Scope: Sodded green and repaired areas that needed attention due to re-location of tee decks
Project Duration: 5 days
Completion Date: early Spring 2008
Turfgrass: L93 Bentgrass on green, used existing grass for repair work

Installation: Manderley’s team of installation experts
Project Synopsis: The Manderley team was hired to sod a new green. However while there, the team lead noticed that the course could use some added attention because of   some previous work that had been done (re-location of tee decks). After suggesting improvements, the team was hired for four additional days to do the finishing work (e.g. removed sod, re-graded, re-sodded tie-ins). Because we used their existing grass, we were able to save the course a significant amount of money.
