CASE STUDIES
Trafalgar Golf and Country Club

Location: Milton, Ontario
Description: Course was built in 1958 with the most up to date greens and seeded to Pencross Bentgrass. The greens performed well over the years but the owners of the course wanted to provide their members with most up to date putting greens. So, the decision was made to upgrade greens to the new USGA standards.
Architect: C.E. "Robbie" Robinson
Superintendent: Mark R. Prieur
Scope: Remove existing profile and level base, install drainage, USGA root zone mix and sodded with L93 big roll Bentgrass
Results: Greens were ready for play 28 days after sodding. Greens remain playable in all weather conditions. Putting surface is true and meets all tournament requirements.
Turfgrass: L93 Bentgrass (big roll)
Installation: Manderley’s NTS™ – Natural Turf Systems™
Client Testimonial: "We sodded four greens in one day and they were in play in 30 days. I will go with big roll again on my next project." —Mark R. Prieur, Golf Course Superintendent
